Idalis Software Management

Idalis Software was founded in 2006 by experienced technology professionals who, through their research, innovation and leadership have created the next generation of e-mail, forensic analysis, anti-espionage, and anti-botnet network security products/services. Additional niche specific cyber-security Idalis products are on the horizon in 2010 and beyond to remedy and manage the internets greatest risks. Idalis' internal management, external management partners, forensic experts, senior software engineers, and general advisors have a diversified background covering all areas of technological innovation, Federal Government contracting, enterprise development, large scale deployment, and corporate administration.

Thomas 'Tom' Caldwell, President, CEO, and Head of Technology Design
Tom Caldwell is the inventor, entrepreneur, technologist, and manager behind all of Idalis' innovations. Briefly in 2002, Tom spent time inside a spam ring operation while also managing the IT infrastructure for a multi-city dial-up and wireless ISP. Tom used this insider opportunity to study the methods of defeating legacy anti-spam technologies and obtaining a behind-the-scenes look at spam e-mail and botnet virus operations. As an Information and E-mail Systems Manager, Tom also learned what specific actions would be necessary to change the economics, losses, and approach associated with malicious e-mail, botnet infections, cyber criminals, and US cyber-security infrastructure, targeting these problems at their source rather than fighting the growing symptoms. Tom later worked in internet marketing and sales by building and managing a web-based nationwide commercial insurance lead-generation system, gaining property and casualty leads ranging from $10,000 to $100,000,000 in insurable assets across all types of business property or liability risks. Tom later focused on technology and purchasing consulting combining ten years of technology, sales, marketing, and customer management experience into his plans for Idalis.

Tom studied Psychology, Political Science and Economics at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and later completed a technology certification tract which included Visual Basic 6/.Net, Java, web development, A+ hardware certification as well as the Microsoft Certified Professional Curriculum. Mr. Caldwell is an active member of the English Speaking Union as well as several other Civic and Fraternal organizations.
